Palestinian police close Islamic University in Giza

The Palestinian police decided closing the Islamic University in Gaza indefinitely, following clashes between students at the university and students at the neighboring Al Azhar University due to student union elections. Nearly 30 students were injured in the clashes, and the police force used tear gas to separate the students who belong to Fatah and Hamas. The students smashed cars near the location of the clashes, while students from Al Azhar University caused destruction at the Islamic University.
