Congressman Tony Hall concludes visit to Baghdad

US Congressman Tony Hall defended the international sanctions imposed on Iraq as he concluded his visit to Iraq, but he said that innocent people are suffering from the measures.
Hall started his visit to Iraq five days ago, when he met with Iraqi officials, and these meetings were published on Iraqi newspapers' front pages.
The Iraqi government considered Hall's visit a blow to the US government, but it was surprised at the end of the visit that Hall defended the sanctions but he defended the innocents, children and the aged people who die from a lack of food and medications.
