Iraqi minister visits Russia

Iraqi Minister of Defense Sultan Hashim Ahmad has paid a visit to Russia on his way back from Belgrade to his country on April 14. The Iraqi minister was accompanied by high-ranking officials from the Iraqi Ministry of Defense.
Sources at the Russian Defense Ministry said the Iraqi minister paid a visit to Russian Defense Minister Marshal Igor Sergiev and discussed with him urgent issues in the international arenas and the situation in the Arab Gulf region.
