Israeli military escalation in south lebanon

Israeli occupation forces escalated the situation in south Lebanon and west Beqa today, whereby Israeli warplanes raided consecutively Al-Malloula valley, the area situated between Al-Sawaneh and Khirbet Selm, as well as Al-Qaysieh Valley.
Israeli artillery also pounded west of Yater, Al-Qaysieh Valley and the outskirts of Majdel Selm, Khirbet Selm, Al-Sawaneh and Al-Jmaijmeh.
Later, the circle of Israeli shelling widened to entail western Zawtar, Qae'qae'yat Al-Jisr, Shoukeen main highway, Al-Hamra farmstead, Yohmor field, Sojod woodland, Al-Rihan, Aqmata farm, Al-Tasseh wellspring, Majdel Zoun, Zobqeen, Al-Botom mountain, Jibb Sweid, Dohor Al-Illieh, Al-Nafkha valley, Al-Kabeer mountain and Siddiqeen.
Israeli shelling against Majdel Zoun led to the death of a Syrian worker, named Diab Trad Al-Radi (28 years), and the wounding of three others who were taken to Najem Hospital in Tyre for treatment. Israeli shelling also led to material damage in properties.
In west Beqa, Israeli warplanes raided consecutively Yohmor and Zellaya valleys and Al-Daher mountain. This coupled with Israeli shelling against the outskirts of Zelllaya, Qelya, Al-Dallafeh, 910 Hilltop, Lucy farm and Al-Sraira hilltop. Israeli shelling far-reached to the town of Lebaya, inflicting material damage in more than 15 civilian houses and the wounding of two citizens.
On Hasbaya front, Israeli bombardment targeted Maimas Intersection, Al-Daher Hilltop and Ain-Fjour Farms.
In response, the Lebanese Resistance mounted a series of attacks against joint Israeli and collaborating militias' outposts in Tayr Harfa, Blat, Zoughla Barrack, Al-Ahmadieh, Be'r Kallab, Dhour Al-Kassara, Hadatha, Baraashit, Ad-Djaj Pond, Rshaf and Hmayyed, scoring direct and accurate hits.
On the other hand, Israeli occupiers machine-gunned today the village of Baraashit.
