In her delivered word, Mrs. Berry extended thanks to all the Lebanese and Arab figures who visited the martyrs' cemetery in Qana on this occasion.
On his part, Head of Qana Municipality, Doctor Salah Salameh, welcomed the delegations in Qana, calling it "Qana: the Wedding," rather than "Qana: the Funeral." After the function, Mrs. Lahoud and Mrs Berry distributed gifts among the children of the martyrs and toured the photo exhibition held by the Islamic Scouts at Qana Museum.
Then, Mrs. Lahoud and Mrs. Berry laid wreath on the martyrs' tombs.
It is to note that crowds of citizens, intellectuals and students from different areas of Lebanon visited today the martyrs' cemetery in Qana on the said occasion.
Meanwhile, Minister of Information and the Displaced, Anwar Al-Khalil, confirmed that the anniversary of Qana massacre renews our commitment to the unified national stand in support of the Resistance against occupation.
Khalil also called on writers to conduct researches and documentation in order to provide the upcoming generations with knowledge bases, beneficial for the construction of a future rich in its national didactic lessons, particularly the national struggle epic against Israeli aggression.
Minister Khalil's words come during the dinner banquet held yesterday by the Publishers' Union Syndicate in Lebanon at Beirut Hall, Sin El-Fil, in honor of publishing houses currently partaking in the 6th International Book Exhibition. The dinner banquet was attended by Head of the Union's Syndicate, Mohammed Assi, and the Syndicate's members, as well as Culture and Higher Learning Ministry's Director General, Mohammed Madi, and representatives from the Arab Publishers' Union.

Thus, Premier Hoss went on to consider that the Resistance in the South has become a symbol of struggle and of the people's determination to resist oppression.
Al-Hoss' words came in an address today, delivered by North Governor, Nassif Qaloush, who represented Hoss in a memorial ceremony in commemoration of the Qana massacre.
