Mashar expresses his support for Egyptian- Libyan initiative

Riyak Mashar, head of the Sudanese Public Democratic Front and former Sudanese vice president, expressed his support for the Egyptian initiative concerning ending the armed conflict in Sudan.
Mashar added that the Sudanese problem will only be solved when all the concerned parties sit at the negotiating table to reach a peaceful settlement to the existing conflict in Sudan, expressing his belief that merging the Egyptian- Libyan initiative with the IGAD initiative will help all the concerned parties and political forces in Sudan reach a political solution to the conflict.
