Symposium on image and video communications over fixed and mobile networks opens in Rabat

An international symposium on image and video communications over fixed and mobile networks opened in Rabat on Monday.
The three-day meeting, held by the faculty of sciences, will examine the latest developments in the field of information technologies and communication.
It is an opportunity for Moroccan researchers and engineers to present, discuss and exchange their works with foreign experts, said the symposium's general chair at the opening session.
Image/video indexing, watermarking, teledetection, networks and multimedia, automatic faces recognition are among the topics to be addressed by participants.
Researchers from more than 14 countries are taking part in this scientific event.
