Gaddafi confers with African counterpart
Libya-Sao Tome and Principe, Politics, 4/18/2000
Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi on Sunday evening discussed bilateral relations as well as several issues of mutual concern with the President of Sao Tome and Principe, Miguel Trovoada, in the Libyan city of Syrte.
The two presidents also reviewed current conditions in the African continent, means of establishing security, peace and stability in it and ways of withstanding the challenges of the current century.
Meanwhile, Gaddafi received a message from the president of the republic of Niger, Mamadou Tandja, concerning relations between the two countries. The message was handed over by the minister of labor and administrative modernization in Niger, Aeshe Mankei, during her meeting with Gaddafi.
