Kuwait voices backing for Lebanon

Kuwaiti Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Suleiman Majid al-Shahin has stated that Kuwait is committed to providing political and financial backing to Lebanon in support of its struggle to implement UN Security Council resolution 425 and achieve Israel's complete withdrawal from south Lebanon.
In a statement to Sawt al-Arab radio on Monday al-Shahin commended Lebanese- Kuwaiti relations, daying that the talks between Lebanese President Emile Lahoud and Kuwaiti officials dealt with bilateral relations and Kuwait's support for Lebanese demand of Israel's complete and unconditional withdrawal from south Lebanon.
