Yemeni president arrives in Tehran

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh arrived in Tehran on Monday leading a high-ranking delegation on an official visit to Iran which will last for three days.
The Yemeni president will hold talks with his Iranian counterpart, Muhammad Khatami, and high-ranking Iranian officials on strengthening relations between Yemen and Iran and on areas of joint cooperation, regional and international developments and means of strengthening security and stability in the region.
The Yemeni president will also discuss the Middle East peace process, the Palestinians cause, the Islamic march of solidarity and issues of mutual concern with Iranian officials.
