Mubarak, Abdullah tackle ME peace process

President Hosni Mubarak discussed Middle East peace process with King Abdullah II of Jordan who made a brief visit to Egypt yesterday. "The situation in the Middle East figured high in Mubarak-Abdullah summit in view of the hard circumstances being experienced by the peace process on different tracks," said Information Minister Safwat Al-Sherif.
"Problems and obstacles facing the process were discussed in addition to the views of all parties concerned," added the Minister.
Mubarak and the Jordanian Monarch held an hour-long one-on-one meeting while prime ministers of both countries chaired a meeting attended by officials from the two sides.
