UAE students break Guiness record for longest painting in world

School students in the United Arab Emirates broke the Guiness record for the longest painting in the world when 17,448 students from 83 schools of 92 different nationalities drew a 500-meter-long painting.
The former record was held by a 201.5 meter painting.
The painting, the fruit of hard work that began last September, a few days after school year started, was displayed at the culture compound in Abu Dhabi after it was completed.
The painting is named Y2K and contains landmarks of 192 countries including the United Nations, headquarters of the red cross organization and headquarters of the Olympic games.
