Canadian businessmen in Morocco

A group of Canadian businessmen started Sunday a one week-visit to Morocco to explore economic partnership opportunities with Morocco.
The delegation, which is currently attending in Tangier (northern Morocco) a Moroccan-Canadian partnership forum, is due to meet local peers and visit the Tangier free zone and major industrial units in the region.
The delegation will then proceed to Casablanca on Wednesday to attend a seminar initiated by Groupe des Banques Populaires.
The Canadian businessmen are also scheduled to meet in Rabat with the Moroccan secretary of state for planning, officials from the foreign investment department at the Ministry of Finance and from the industrial development office.
The delegation represents twelve Canadian companies operating in Quebec and New Brunswick and six companies operating in technology, information and environment.
