Moroccan, French enterprise organizations agree on Morocco's investment attractiveness
Morocco-France, Business, 4/17/2000
Moroccan and French enterprise organizations, CGEM and MEDEF, which held in Casablanca recently the 12th session of their joint committee, agreed that Morocco is an attractive market for French capital.
The CGEM and MEDEF chairmen, Abderrahim Lahjouji and Ernest Antoine Seilliere, shared the view that the gradual creation of a free trade area is a strong signal to foreign investors, particularly French capital holders.
They argued that foreign investors are given a chance to benefit from Morocco's internal market and re-exporting facilities secured by the Morocco-European Union association agreement, in addition to the possibility of using Morocco as a gate to other African markets.
