More gunmen killed in Algeria

The Algerian daily al-Bilad published on Sunday stated that the security forces killed three armed groups members and confiscated their arms in the state of Jijel, 359 km from the capital, Algiers.

Meanwhile, the Algerian daily al-Youm said three soldiers were killed and other four wounded in Setif province after they were surprise attacked by the armed groups, who used explosives and machine guns in their attacks.

The paper reported that the security forces killed two members of the armed groups in the al-Meleyah area.

Meanwhlie, the armed groups have killed 13 citizens and wounded six in al-Hatatibah town in Tipaza province, 70 km from Algiers.

The Algerian dailies issued on Saturday stated that before the opening of the weekly market in al- Hatatibah town, the gunmen opened fire on the traders who had been gathered at the entrance of the market.

Meantime, the Algerian daily al-Khabar stated that three shepherds were killed in a place called Bani Omran, near Ein al-Sultan town in Ain Defla province, 146 km from the Algerian capital.
