Intensive diplomatic activity in Cairo

Cairo is witnessing in the current week intensive political activity as head of the Pakistan executive authority, King of Jordan, the Chinese President, and the Lebanese president are to arrive in Egypt in the coming days. Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid said that these visits highlight Egypt's role at the regional and international level, saying that the two visits paid by the Jordanian king Abdullah and the Lebanese President Emil Lahud come in the framework of continuos coordination with the Egyptian leadership concerning the positions in the area and the Arab - Israeli peace process.
