Gaddafi calls for establishing a new African - Arab union

The participants in an Arab and African conference that is currently held in Libya - expressed their support for the call of the Libyan president Muaammar al-Gaddafi to form a union between the Arab - and African countries.
Representatives of nearly 70 countries are participating in the meeting.
The Arab and the African participants assured that "the Libyan president is working for the good of the African continent and the Arab and African leaders should support him in implementing his proposals."
Participants added that Gaddafi's plans will be received by a European attack to frustrate it, saying that Gaddafi addressed strong words to Europe and USA during the Africa - Europe summit and that they will reconsider their calculations toward the African continent following these words.
