Gaddafi confers with Chad's counterpart

Libyan leader Col. Muaammar al-Gaddafi discussed with the President of Chad Idris Debi African issues.
The two sides stressed in a meeting held on Thursday evening in the Libyan city of Sert their backing to peace and security in Chad as well as backing to the coalition of the coast and desert states.
Meantime, the secretary of the Libyan people committee for African unity Ali al-Tureiki on Thursday evening met with the secretary of the people's committee with Rwanda's foreign minister, currently visiting Libya.
The two sides discussed means of developing bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries in the service of the joint interests of the two peoples.
