Lebanese president starts a visit to Saudi Arabia today

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud starts today an official visit to Saudi Arabia which is the first since he was elected a President to Lebanon. President Lahoud visit to Saudi Arabia is part of his tour on several Arab states which will cover Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Iran.
During his visit, the Lebanese President will hold talks with King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia and his crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz dealing with several issues of mutual concern especially main developments in the region, in light of the stumbled peace process and the tension prevailing the region due to Israeli policy with regard to the peace process.
