Egypt-Japan, Business, 4/14/2000
The Japanese international cooperation organization will start in October carrying out a project to support and develop small and medium-sized industries in Egypt, especially automobile-related industries and export industries, as well as transferring technology, especially lasers.
The project also includes developing the Egyptian center for mineral research, affiliated to the Ministry of Scientific Research through an agreement for technical cooperation with the Japanese organization.
Adel Noga, the head of the center, said the Japanese organization will present its experience to scientists at the center in the fields of metal cutting technology and thermal treatments.
