Italian parliamentary delegation in Damascus today

The speaker of the Italian Parliament, Lutciano Lanti, will arrive today in Damascus leading a parliamentary delegation in a visit to Syria which will last for two days where he will hold talks with the speaker of the Syrian People's Assembly, Abdul Qader Qaddoura and several Syrian state officials. He will also visit several archaeological sites in the country in Damascus and Palmyra.
