The Israeli foreign ministry urged the Israeli tourists in a statement yesterday not to go to Yemen unless proper security procedures were taken in this country. A statement that was issued the day after a visit paid by Israelis of Yemeni origin to Yemen warned that tourists were kidnapped in Yemen to become hostages, adding that there are neither diplomatic relations between the two countries nor direct phone calls, saying the terrorism fighting bureau that is affiliated to Ehud Barak and the foreign ministry are recommending the citizens not to visit Yemen till proper security procedures are taken for the Israeli tourists.
