Israel continues aggression south Lebanon

The Israeli forces on Wednesday continued their aggressions against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon and the western Bekaa. The attacks resulted in damaging several houses of Lebanese civilians and cutoffs in electricity.

The Israeli bombardment against the towns and villages of the area was coupled with intensive flying of the Israeli warplanes and mock and provocative raids.

In retaliation, the Lebanese resistance carried out a series of operations against the Israeli occupation forces and their agents, and direct hits were scored.

Lebanese security sources said the number of casualties in the lines of the pro-Israel South Lebanon Army militia increased to one dead and two persons reported wounded.

Lebanese security sources said one SLA militia member was killed and another was wounded in the attack, which targeted the position of the 10th contingent of the SLA militia in al-Rayhan, and another SLA militia member was wounded in the attacks against Barachit position.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces released eight Lebanese citizens out of 15 who were arrested or kidnapped for 14 years and were put in the Israeli jails.

Israeli sources said that Israeli political and security sources oppose the release of the other seven Lebanese citizens in an attempt to blackmail Lebanon for such a release.
