Bouteflika to visit France in June

French officials who asked not to be identified said on Tuesday that the state visit that Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika intends to make to France is set for June 14- 16 and that French President Jacques Chirac and Premier Lionel Jospin will meet with him.
They added that President Bouteflika will deliver a speech before a joint session of the national assembly and the Senate at the invitation of their two presidents.
The Algerian president had met separately with the French president at the beginning of this month in Cairo on the sidelines of the African-Euro summit in which officials from Africa and the European Union took part.
