Sultan Qaboos to visit Qatar on April 22

In a step reflecting a new phase of Qatari- Omani relations, the sultan of Oman, Qaboos Bin Said, will hold his first official visit to Doha since the Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani assumed power in Qatar in 1995.
Media sources in Doha said the visit of Sultan Qaboos will start on April 22 and will last for three days.
The sources added Sultan Qaboos will be accompanied by several high ranking Omani officials. The sultan of Oman is expected to hold with Qatar's emir, means of boosting bilateral relations, the situation in the Gulf and the Middle East peace process.
