Establishing a Moroccan commercial bureau in New York

Morocco decided to open a commercial representation bureau in New York City to increase the volume of its exports to US markets.

Moroccan Minister of Trade Industry and Handicrafts Alami Tazi, Othman Benjelloun co-chair of the Moroccan - US council for trade and investment in attendance of Minister of Finance Fathallah Oualalou signed two agreements on establishing a commercial representation bureau for exports in New York, aiming at marketing the Moroccan goods in the US markets.

Oualalou said this bureau will benefit from the support of the Moroccan - US trade council in the USA to perform its assigned role to open the markets, present aid and organize symposiums and fairs, as well as to attract US investments and make Moroccan products familiar in the markets of the US.
