ISESCO, Islamic Development Bank support Arab Islamic education in Chad

Chad signed on Monday a tripartite memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
Under the memorandum, the ISESCO and the IDB shall support Arab Islamic education in Chad through cooperation with the Ministry of Education. Cooperation would specifically result in the training of 200 teachers and 41 instructors, the elaboration of educational curricula, the supply of necessary equipment for primary and secondary education, as well as supply of needed expertise in educational classrooms and labs, organization of workshops and rehabilitation of the bilingual King Faical Computer Center based in N'jamena, Chad.
The support program for Chad developed by ISESCO and the IDB likewise includes strengthening of the databases on bilingual experts (Arabic and French), supporting competent statistics authorities, providing training and technical assistance and supplying teaching aids.
