King Mohammed, an outstanding personality, Enzo Bianco says

King Mohammed VI is an outstanding personality who triggered curiosity in the West as a whole, and in Italy in particular, said Italian Interior Minister Enzo Bianco.

Bianco told MAP on the occasion of the state visit of the sovereign to Rome April 11-13 at the invitation of president Carlo Azeglio Ciampi that Italy was braced to encourage and back reforms and economic development action launched by Morocco.

He hailed excellent cooperation ties between the two countries, in immigration matters among others, and said he would probe with Moroccan peer in Rabat, in the second half of the year, means to further consolidate cooperation between their departments.

Moroccan nationals are welcome in Italy for they are hard-working people who actively contribute to Italy's economic development and their country's progress, Bianco said.
