Libyan, Maltese trade relations discussed
Libya-Malta, Economics, 4/12/2000

Meetings of Libyan economic activists and a delegation of Maltese economic activists included main trade companies, banking companies and industrial institutions in Malta.

It was agreed on Tuesday to discuss means of strengthening and developing economic, trade and industrial cooperation between Libya and Malta in the interests of the two peoples.

Meanwhile, the assistant secretary for political affairs at the people's committee for foreign relations in Libya (the deputy foreign minister), Saad Mujber, in Tripoli on Tuesday discussed with the Vietnamese deputy minister of labor means of developing cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields.

The Vietnamese official, stressed during the meeting, his country's care to develop joint cooperation and open new horizons for the joint interests of the Libyan and Vietnamese peoples.
