A round of trade talks started on Tuesday in Riyadh between delegations of the general secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Commission in order to discuss several trade issues of concern to the two sides.

A press statement by the GCC secretariat said the talks will discuss several trade issues including the free trade agreement between the GCC member states and the European Union and negotiations on the lists of the main commodities of the GCC states, including petrochemicals and refined oil products.
