Qaboos to visit Qatar on April 22

Within a few days, Omani - Qatari relations will enter a new phase. Oman's Sultan Qaboos Bin Said will hold his first official visit to Doha since Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani assumed power in 1995.
News reports in Doha said that the three-day visit of Sultan Qaboos will start on April 22 and that Sultan Qaboos will be accompanied by high-ranking officials.
The reports expected that the visit will help boost bilateral relations and that the leaders of Oman and Qatar will discuss "means of backing bilateral relations, the situation in the Gulf region and the Middle East peace process."
