King Abdullah arrives in Oslo

Jordan's King Abdullah Bin Hussein arrived on Monday in Oslo, starting an official visit which will last for three days.
The king is accompanied by his wife, Queen Rania, and several officials in the Jordanian government, including Foreign Minister Abdul Illah al-Khatib, who was due to hold talks with his Norwegian counterpart later in the day pertaining to the Middle East peace process and bilateral issues.
The Jordanian king is scheduled to deliver a lecture under the title "Jordan's role in achieving peace and stability in the Middle East region."
King Abdullah will also hold meetings with prominent Norwegian officials and visit Norwegian establishments, especially the international academy for water which specializes in conducting research on water resources.
