20 million dirham cost to establish UAE wing in EXPO 2000 fair

The United Arab Emirates' government decided to make an estimated budget of 50 million dirhams to establish the UAE's wing at the EXPO 2000 fair that will be held in the German city of Hanover between July and October.

UAE Minister of Information and Culture Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan will supervise under the auspices of Sheikh Zayed al-Nahyan, ruler of the UAE.

The UAE's wing will be the fifth largest participating in this fair.

ArabicNews.com also learnd from UAE sources that nearly 170 to 200 countries will participate in this fair and that it costs nearly 15 billion German marks.

The UAE adheres to participating in this fair to communicate with other cultures and civilizations through celebrating the UAE's national day on August 7, in addition to music and singing shows, public arts, fairs for the formative arts and the traditional costumes of UAE.
