Prince Moulay Rachid in Bourguiba's Funerals

Prince Moulay Rachid represented King Mohammed VI in the funerals of Tunisia's former President Habib Bourguiba, who passed away Thursday at the age of 96. The Prince was accompanied by speaker of the house of representative, Abdelouahed Radi, Islamic Affairs Minister, Abdelkebir Alaoui Mdaghri and Royal advisor Mohamed Aouad.
Figures from several Moroccan political parties and several foreign heads of state and leading personalities from Africa, the Arab world, Europe and the United States were among the 15,000 people attending the funeral ceremony that took place in Monastir, the home town of the "Father of Tunisian independence. "The heads of state included Presidents Jacques chirac of France, Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria, Yasser Arafat of Palestine, Robert Guei of Cote d'Ivoire and Ali Abdallah Saleh of Yemen.
