Kuwaiti emir confers with Djibouti's president

A round of official talks was held on Sunday in Kuwait between Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah and the president of Djibouti, Ismael Omar Guelleh.
An emiri statement said that talks between the two sides dealt with means of developing and promoting bilateral relations on all fields. It dealt with developments in the international arenas.
The emir of Kuwait also received US Defense Secretary William Cohen on Sunday, and talks between the two sides dealt with military cooperation relations between Kuwait and the US and means of developing them.
Present at the meeting were Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah, high-ranking Kuwaiti officials and the US ambassador in Kuwait.
