Kuwait 's crown prince confers with US defense secretary

Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah met on Sunday in Kuwait with US Defense Secretary William Cohen.
Talks during the meeting dealt with friendship and cooperation relations between Kuwait and the US and means of backing and developing them, especially in the military field. Present at the meeting was the Kuwaiti deputy premier defense minister, Lt. Gen. Ali al-Moumin.
Cohen on Sunday concluded an official visit to Kuwait which lasted for two days, during which he held talks with high-ranking Kuwaiti officials aimed at strengthening military cooperation relations between the two countries.
