Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara conveyed a written message from Syrian President Hafez al-Assad to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak while receiving him today that tackles developments concerning the peace process on the Syrian track and in south Lebanon.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa met with al-Shara following his meeting with the president that tackled Egyptian efforts for supporting Syria toward the developments in the Lebanese south and on the Egyptian- Syrian Israeli.
The sources who participated in the meeting assured that there is an Egyptian-Syrian understanding concerning withdrawal from south Lebanon and Egyptian confirmation concerning Egypt's support for Syria's demand for the occupied Syrian Golan without any violation of Syrian lands and water.
