Canada's prime minister visits Saudi Arabia

Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia on April 18 in the framework of his tour of the Middle East, during which he will visit Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Israel.
An official source at the Canadian embassy to Saudi Arabia said in Riyadh on Friday that Chretien will hold during his visit to Saudi Arabia talks with Saudi Arabia's King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz dealing with political, regional and international developments, especially the Middle East peace process and bilateral relations between the two countries and means of consolidating them.
