Meetings of Egyptian - Moroccan committee - tomorrow

The meetings of the Joint Egyptian - Morocco committee are to start tomorrow in Cairo ,Egypt.

The committee is discussing means of increasing the volume of commercial exchange between the two states in the frame of the free zone agreement signed between Egypt and Morocco two years ago, which started being implemented in April, 1999.

Egyptian sources stated that Egyptian Minister of Economy Yousef Butrous Ghali will head the Egyptian side in these meetings while Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade Alami Tazi will head the Moroccan side.

The sources expected the volume of the joint trade to increased from $36 million to $50 million by the end of the current year.
