Arab administrative development ministers meet in Cairo

The Arab organization for administrative development's executive council and general assembly are to meet at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo on April 17-20.

The meeting will discuss the future of Arab administration and how to develop it to serve economic and social developments in the Arab states.

The agenda of the executive council --grouping Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, Syria and Jordan-- will also include financial issues, projected budgets for 2001 and 2002, as well as the establishment of an electronic network in cooperation with the U.N..

The organization will hold an international conference on April 18-20 over small ventures and permanent development horizons in the Arab sates.

All delegations taking part in the meeting of the executive council and general assembly would attend the conference, along with investors, Arab media professionals, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and businessmen.
