Comoros prime minister urges Arab League to send fact finding mission

Comoros urged the Arab League on Wednesday to send a fact-finding mission, along with the Organization of African Unity (OAU), to evaluate the situation in the country and help in holding elections in the country.
This came during a meeting between the prime minister of Comoros, Aaref Tarmizi, with Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid.
The two sides discussed the situation in Comoros and humanitarian and financial aid extended by Arab countries to the republic.
Comoros is member of the pan-Arab organization.
