Morocco, Bahrain sign three cooperation accords

Morocco and Bahrain signed in Rabat Friday three accords on economic cooperation, incentives to investment and non-double taxation.
The accords were initialed by Bahrain's minister of finance and economy, Abdallah Hassan Al Saif, and his Moroccan peer, Fathallah Oualalou.
The two sides underscored the excellent relations binding Morocco and Bahrain and voiced determination to enlarge the scope of bilateral cooperation to the sectors of agriculture, tourism, industry, telecommunications and finance.
Oulalaou called Bahrain's banking institutions to participate in Morocco's privatization program and urged private economic operators to weave ties and explore partnership opportunities.
The Bahraini official said Bahrain wishes Morocco to become one of its privileged partners in investment matters
The Bahraini finance and economy minister conferred Thursday with Moroccan Premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi on investment promotion and consolidation of economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Bahraini official arrived in Morocco Thursday to take part in meetings of Arab financial institutions slated for April 11-12 in Fez.
