Iranian defense minister to visit Saudi Arabia

Iranian Defense Minister Admiral Ali Shamakhani will start an official visit to Saudi Arabia on April 24 at the invitation of the Saudi second deputy and defense minister, Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz.
Shamakhani, who is considered the first Iranian defense minister to visit Saudi Arabia since the launching of the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979, will meet with King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah. He will also hold intensive talks with the defense minister in Saudi Arabia, Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz.
