Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday continued their aggression against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon and the western Bekaa.
Lebanese security sources said the occupation artillery bombarded on Wednesday afternoon the outskirts of Kafer Rumman, Habboush, Arab Salim towns and al-Zahrani river course using heavy shells of 155 and 120 mm caliber.
The Israeli bombardment was coupled with mopping-up operations by machine guns from the Israeli occupation positions in al-Sweida and al-Tahra against the surrounding valleys.
On Wednesday morning the Israeli artillery bombarded areas of the western Bekaa, especially the surrounding of Burket al-Jabbour, Abu Rashed woods and Tel al-Rahayat. The bombardment also targeted the residential areas and the highway in al-Mansouri town.
The bombardment was accompanied by intensive flights by Israeli warplanes at intermediate altitudes, dropping tens of thermal balloons, which were intercepted by the firs of the Lebanese Army artillery positioned in the area.
Meanwhile, an Israeli MK pilotless reconnaissance plane flew in the airspace of Rashaya al-Wadi area until the airspace of Neita and Eita al-Fakhar and the heights situated on the western plains of Jabal al-Sheikh.
On Tuesday evening the Israeli artillery bombarded the woods of Meidoun and the heights adjoining al-Qatrani area. This was coupled with firing several light bombs and mopping up operations against Litani river course and the surrounding of al-Dallafah woods.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance on Wednesday attacked the Israeli occupation and its agents' positions in Aramti, Rashaf, Hamid and al-Jamouseh using machine guns and artillery. In a statement the resistance said direct hits were scored.
