Cairo hosts first conference on international system for cell phones

The first conference of the international system for cellular telephones in North Africa (IBC) is to start tomorrow in Cairo.
The conference is organized by the British international corporation for communications and will last for two days with the participation of seven international companies-- Seimens, Ericsson, Alcatel, Senior, Deveri Net, Antel Anfo, and Mobile Britain, in addition to the Egyptian company Mobinil.
The conference will be held annually in Cairo to inform the North Africa area about the most important developments and renovations in the mobile communication system (GSM).
