Severe dissent inside the Sudan People's Liberation Army, sources

Informed Sudanese sources stated yesterday that there was armed dissension among troops of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement, clarifying that the group was divided into three groups-- one of which joined the governmental forces.
The sources relating this dissent to the disputes between the Deneika tribe on one side and the Noweir and El-Mawred on the other.
Sudanese sources said the leadership in south Sudan intends to convene in the Swedish capital Geneva to discuss the destiny of the south between unity and dissension, and the conference will last for three days between April 24th and 27th.
They referred to a meeting to take a decisive decision concerning the war in southern Sudan.
