Eight people killed in road crash

Eight people were killed in a road accident Tuesday near the town of Tan Tan, southern Morocco. Some 22 others were injured, when a passenger bus skidded. The Moroccan Gendarmerie Royale imputed the accident to the bus driver who fell asleep at the wheel.
Morocco is currently waging a nationwide campaign against road accidents, which kill up to 3,000 people annually.
