U.K. official lauds Morocco's steps towards modernity

British Foreign Office Secretary of State, Peter Hain, lauded the progress scored by Morocco on the path towards modernity. "Morocco, which I visited last December, is undergoing a series of really remarkable political and economic reforms," Hain told the London-based Middle-East Association.
A release by the British embassy in Rabat quoted Hain as saying that these reforms make of Morocco a major center of political openness and economic opportunities.
