Sanaa for regular Arab summits

The Kuwaiti news agency KUNA quoted the Yemeni minister of information, Abdul Rahman al-Akwa, as saying on Tuesday upon arriving in Kuwait that his country wants to set up a permanent mechanism for convening regular Arab summits.
The Yemeni envoy announced that he is carrying a message from the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to the ruler of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah, inviting him to attend the celebrations which mark the 10th anniversary of Yemeni unity on May 22.
The Yemeni minister is touring the Arab Gulf states and Iran in order to invite their leaders to attend these celebrations.
