Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Monday continued their aggression against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon and its western Bekaa.

Lebanese security sources said the occupation artillery bombarded the Litani River's course and the heights of Maidoun and al-Sarira in the western Bekaa.

The Israeli bombardment targeted al-Qutrani heights, Burket al-Jabbour and Abu Rashed.

The Israeli occupation position in Tallet al-Ahmadeyah carried out a vast mopping up operation targeting Qelya mountain, the Burgos district and areas surrounding this position.

On Monday morning the Israeli occupation forces and their pro-Israel South Lebanon Army militia closed Zamraya crossing both ways for unknown reasons.

On Sunday evening the occupation artillery bombarded Habboush river course, the outskirts of Arab Salim town, using 155 mm caliber. The Israeli bombardment also targeted the eastern suburb of Arnoun town.

The Israeli bombardment also covered several Lebanese areas in Hasbaya and the central sector of south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli bombardment targeted the heights of al-Daher mountain, the surrounding of Ein Fajjour farms, Meimas crossing on Hasbaya front, the eastern hills, overlooking Zamraya crossing and the woods of al-Rayhan at Jezzine district.
